Lead Actor, "Valerie Lapomme"
Hannah hails from the world of improvisational theatre. She first started improvising in high school at the age of 16 with the Canadian Comedy Award-nominated Rapid Fire Theater in Edmonton, appearing both in their live shows and in several of their web videos. She has performed in various plays at the University of Alberta as well as in the Edmonton Fringe Festival. Hannah's first trip to Toronto was with the Tumbleweed project, a touring improv collective that performed across Canada and the U.S. Shortly after moving to Toronto, Hannah was cast as Valerie Lapomme in Sexy Nerd Girl.

Adam Christie is a Tim Sims Award-nominated stand-up comedian. A finalist in The Comedy Network's Cream of Comedy, he has performed at UCB Theater in Los Angeles, the Montreal Sketch Comedy Festival, the Cottage Country Comedy Festival and at Yuk Yuk's comedy clubs across Canada. Adam has a recurring role on MuchMusic's Stars Gone Wild and has been featured on CBC's So You Think You're Funny?, Star!'s Best. Movies. Ever. and XM Radio's Chomping At The Bit. He co-hosts the podcast Hold You Applause.

Supporting Actor, "Mother"
A native Houstonian and mother of three, Shelley graduated from Baylor University with a BA in theatre/communications. She has since relocated to Toronto where she has appeared on Slice/CTV's Party Mamas, as "Hot Mom" in a MuchMusic ad campaign and as herself in Smober Up, a 10-episode branded web series dedicated to helping Canadians quit smoking. Shelley is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory Program and regularly performs stand-up comedy at clubs and one-nighters all over Toronto.

Simon has been directing and producing short video content for over 20 years and video content for the Internet for the past 12 years. During the 90s, he was a comic actor, performing at the Just For Laughs festival, touring Canadian theatre festivals, writing and performing for CBC TV and radio. Then he found the Internet. He has since designed interactive online properties for corporate clients, produced and directed an experimental video series, Cinema 1 (1999-2002); a sci-fi comedy series, GO Moonbase (2007-2008); a documentary series, Canadian Comedy (2009-2010); and several short films. He is proud to be working with such an incredibly talented bunch of people on Sexy Nerd Girl.

Steph graduated from Ryerson's Radio and Television Arts program in 2008. She's been doing stand-up comedy around Toronto for a couple years now, which earned her an invite to the Fresh Meat Showcase in 2008 and 2009. An experienced improvisor, she has performed in several Bad Dog Theatre shows, including Hot Teachers in Love, Theatresports, Welcome to Town and is currently a member of The League. She is a proud cast member of Ghost Jail Theatre and performs regularly at Catch 23 and Laugh Sabbath. Steph is a co-producer/co-host of the monthly stand-up show Comedy at the Ossington, and one half of the comedy duo Sexy Girl Party. Steph couldn't be happier to be the head writer and co-creator of Sexy Nerd Girl, a project she finds inspiring.

Mike Fly has been producing and directing for more than a decade. His credits include CBC's Street Cents, Exposure, Living Vancouver and RAZER TV's 969. He also produced and directed the feature length documentary David Shepherd: A Lifetime of Improvisational Theatre and is responsible for the 75-episode web series Improv Monologue Project. He has worked with corporate clients as well as national broadcasters, and has a comedy career spanning over 17 years. Mike is thrilled be part of the team that brings Sexy Nerd Girl into the world.

Jan is so pleased to unleash her inner sexy nerd girl! When not Googling things, she is a writer on the Gemini Award nominated television show That's So Weird. She is also a contributor to various YTV interstitial programing and performed and co-wrote 4 shows with the Second City National Touring Company. Jan is a Canadian Comedy Award winning improviser, who has performed across North America. Her favorite improv credits include About an Hour (Best of Fringe), the critically acclaimed Sass and the City and the Canadian Comedy Award Winning shows Monkey Toast and Show Stopping Number (which she also directed).

Chris is an Edmonton-based actor, producer and writer. His theatre work in Canada has been recognized with four Sterling Awards and two Dora Mavor Moore Awards, and his film Turnbuckle was nominated for two Ampia Awards. He is the proud recipient of the Embridge Emerging Artist award, the Centennial Medal for his contribution to the Arts in Alberta and the Alberta Book Award for his collection of plays for teens Naked at School. He is the screenwriter of the feature film The Pharmacist/La Pharmacien which won Best Feature at the Nevada Film Festival.

Galen hails from Toronto's west end where he grew up carefully nurturing a love for video games, movies, books, and all things nerd. He now attends Ryerson University's Radio & Television Arts program, which allows him to cultivate his tendency towards the imagined and fanciful into something that may eventually pay the bills. When not fantasizing about fantastical universes, Galen spends his time making and listening to music and drinking copious amounts of tea. Sexy Nerd Girl is a uniquely wonderful project and Galen is thrilled to be aboard.

Kyah is currently studies Film at Ryerson University. She has written, produced and directed a host of short films over the last five years, and is excited to have several more upcoming. Alongside her involvement with Sexy Nerd Girl, she is working on pre-production of her fourth year thesis project and the completion of a feature-length script, which will begin production in 2012. When she’s not working, she whittles away the hours with all manners of excellent nerd-isms, and she’s delighted to be spreading the nerd-love worldwide.

Jeremy Mersereau is a writer/producer for Fun Time Internet and a producer of Toronto standup monthly Comedy at the Ossington. He spends most of his time thinking up ‘hilarious’ tweets. A real nerd, he also makes computer music and plays in various synth-based bands.

Christine was born and raised in the suburbs of Toronto, spending her youth watching YTV and putting on plays on her front lawn. As a student in Ryerson University’s Radio & Television Broadcasting program, Christine is lucky enough to spend most of her time these days writing screenplays, directing short films, composing music and watching television as homework. She is very excited to a member of the Sexy Nerd Girl team and have the opportunity to work with so many talented people.

Rob Norman is an actor, improviser, director, and writer living in Toronto, Canada. He is currently member of the Second City National Touring Company and is a four-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee. Rob has been lucky enough to tour comedy festivals in Chicago, St. John, the Dirty South, New York and Edmonton. His Toronto credits include: Our Days Are Numbers (Toronto Fringe), Second City Live in 3D (Second City TourCo), and Battleawesome Awesomestar (Bad Dog Theatre). Rob can currently be seen performing around town with Maybe as well as the testosterone-infused improv juggernaut MANTOWN.

Deborah grew up in Kelowna, British Columbia. Her love for the arts moved her to New York City to study acting at Terry Schreiber Studios. While she was there, she performed improv at The Second City, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and The Peoples Improv Theatre. She also frequented her stand-up at Caroline's, Stand-Up New York and Gotham Comedy Club. She has appeared on and written for CTV's E-Talk Daily, Much Music, The Score Network, CBC and Comedy Network and is currently living in Toronto with her husband and two cats Millie and Moseby.

Ely Henry is a filmmaker currently attending the Media Arts program at Sheridan College, with a specialty in writing and directing. He's worked behind the scenes for The National Theatre of the World, directed the documentary Meeting Kevin and the short Convenient Psychosis. Ely is super excited to help out on Sexy Nerd Girl because he fancies himself just that... minus the girl part.
